Santiago, 12 February 2025.- The proven strength of Mallplaza’s corporate sustainability strategy was among the attributes that allowed it to be included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for the fourth year running, obtaining a score in the top 15% of its industry.

Mallplaza ranked in the “member” category and was among the 26 companies from the “Real Estate Management & Development” segment included in the report, out of a total of 485 companies in the industry that report to the DJSI.

The responsible management of social, environmental and economic issues is at the heart of the company’s strategy, which in addition to being included in the Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025 is also part of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index in the Chile and MILA categories.

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is a select list that recognizes and distinguishes the companies worldwide that show the best Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance within their respective sectors. Yearbook members are selected based on their S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment Scores, or CSA score.

In the 2024 CSA, 7,690 companies were assessed and considered for the 2024 Sustainability Yearbook yet just 780 companies from 62 industries were among the top performers selected for inclusion in the list.

“The results obtained reflect Mallplaza’s firm conviction to continue making progress toward a robust ESG strategy that generates environmental, social and governance value and allows us to forge close and long-term ties with all our stakeholders. In this sense, we seek to create opportunities for the autonomous development of each of our stakeholders through the promotion of entrepreneurship, culture, inclusion and ethical, upstanding behavior as the basis for leading a regional organization and leader in its sector,” said Mallplaza Corporate Affairs Manager María Irene Soto
